Stevie

Meet Stevie, the clinic's resident "worker" who has perfected the art of appearing busy while secretly enjoying his daily naps. He’s convinced he’s allergic to work, a condition he claims requires ample lounging time and very little physical effort. Despite this, Stevie has a flair for looking professional, often perched on counters desks, or a fresh load of clean laundry as if overseeing operations—though in reality, he’s more likely to be planning his next nap. 

Stevie has mastered the art of the stink eye, especially when he overhears, "Is she pregnant?" Trust us, Stevie is not pregnant, and he’s happy to let you know with an icy glare that could melt steel.

True to his role as a clinic cat, Stevie has a few medical issues of his own, which require him to take medications that lead to weight gain. Don't worry he makes sure everyone knows how much he dislikes his carefully measured diet, ensuring no one forgets his love for snacks.

An advocate for the local community, Stevie is a big fan of Steinbach and Area Animal Rescue. He often gets involved with donation efforts, ensuring that food for both dogs and cats makes its way to the rescue. Whether it’s through a gentle paw or, occasionally, a nibble or two (he’s known for his enthusiasm), Stevie’s contributions are always with good intent.

When he’s not busy overseeing patient comfort and ensuring everyone feels welcome at the clinic, Stevie spends his weekends and holidays at home with our Practice Manager. There, he engages in intense play sessions with their other cats, perfecting his agility and skill as the most energetic, playful feline around. 

Stevie may seem like he’s just lounging, but he’s really working hard to keep spirits high and ensure everyone in the clinic feels at home—even if his version of work involves a bit of napping and a lot of attitude.
